After claiming the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association title and earning the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Playoffs, the second-seeded William and Mary football team will begin its quest for a national championship when it hosts Georgia Southern on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
W&M earned a first-round bye last week, while GSU advanced with a 41-16 victory against South Carolina State last Saturday. The College and Georgia Southern have met just once before, as the Tribe earned a 29-28 victory in Statesboro, Ga., on Sept. 6, 1997.
Tickets to the game are still available by clicking here. Prices vary, with adults paying between $24-29 and youth $15-20, depending on the seat location. The past few games have sold out at Zable Stadium, and this game is expected to as well.
