Merchants Square Summer Events: Car Show, Concerts & More
If it’s Saturday, that means it’s Farmers’ Market day at Merchants Square.

Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square has announced its summer 2009 schedule of events. Music, movies, a car show and more are planned throughout the summer, along with the usual array of shopping and dining opportunities. Keep current by checking the Merchants Square calendar.

June

5: Rock The Block (Williamsburg Land Conservancy), 4–10 p.m., Prince George Street

9: Amazing Buttercup Band, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Merchants Square is an 18th century-style retail village located adjacent to Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area, with 42 shops and restaurants. Most retail stores open at 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday and noon on Sunday. Individual store hours vary. The hotline, 757 259-0209, contains information about any schedule changes for outdoor events due to weather.
