Women’s Golf – Tribe Finish Fourth at Rain-Shortened Yale Intercollegiate The William and Mary Tribe women’s golf team battled through tough, soggy conditions to place fourth at the Yale Intercollegiate on Sunday. The Green and Gold shot a 309 ( 25) to finish seven strokes behind first-place Harvard University.

Women’s Tennis – Katie Kargl Advanced to the ChampionshipWilliam and Mary freshman Katie Kargl advanced to the championship of the top singles flight at the Hampton Roads Intercollegiate Invitational on Sunday. Kargl opened with a win over Charleen Haarhoff of Old Dominion.

Women’s Soccer – Tribe Falls 2-1 to Georgia StateThe Tribe women’s soccer fell in its first conference match away from home Sunday, losing 2-1 to Georgia State despite out-shooting the Panthers 16-6 in shots on goal.

Field Hockey – Tribe Falls to Vermont, 2-1The William and Mary field hockey team wrapped up its two-match trip to north, falling to Vermont, 2-1, in a neutral site game at Harvard on Sunday afternoon.

Men’s Golf – Sunday’s Round at the Hartford Invitational CancelledDue to heavy rain, Sunday’s round at the Hartford Invitational was cancelled. The Tribe men’s golf team will begin play at 8 a.m. on Monday at the Ballymeade Country Club, weather permitting.

Men’s Soccer – W&M Drops CAA Opener to TowsonThe William and Mary men’s soccer team had its six-match unbeaten streak come to a halt in a 2-0 CAA opening loss to Towson at Albert-Daly Field on Saturday night. The Tigers scored twice in the second half to secure the victory in winning their fourth straight match. The College fell to 4-1-2 overall, while Towson improved to 5-2.
