Mail delayed to some residents – full info at public libraries Saturday only.
From the Superintendent of SchoolsEarly Friday, the Williamsburg/James City County School Division Transportation Department learned that the U.S. Postal Service may have misplaced some of the post cards the Division mailed to all W-JCC families last Monday, notifying them of where and when students catch their bus to school.
In the event a family has not received a post card, the Division has provided bus route information to our two local libraries. Notebook binders – one for each W-JCC school – are now available at the Williamsburg Regional Library, 515 Scotland Street, and the James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Road, at the Adult Information Desk.
Bus stop locations will be listed for each bus. To determine which bus stop a student should use, families should find the stop closest to where they live. The school served by that route is noted at the bottom of each list.
The libraries will be open Saturday, Aug. 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
IMPORTANT: Both libraries will be closed all day Sunday and Monday in observance of Labor Day.
Bus routes for 2008-09 are also posted on the W-JCC home page of the school division’s website at www.wjcc.k12.va.us.
