CN8, The Comcast Network is set to air “‘Out of Bounds Special: CAA Football 2008” previewing the upcoming season of CAA Football, July 30, live at 7 p.m. CN8’s Gregg Murphy will host the live hour-long special which features an exclusive interview with CAA Football Commissioner Tom Yeager, as well as coaches and athletes discussing the 2008 season.

Murphy will lead preseason discussions with a panel of coaches stationed throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, including Richmond’s Mike London. The preview show will also showcase special features recorded during last week’s 2008 CAA Football Media Day in Baltimore, including an interview with William and Mary’s Jimmye Laycock.

CAA Football’s 2008 regular season is set to kick off Aug. 28 when Northeastern travels to Ball State and Hofstra takes on Connecticut. The first CAA Football league contests of 2008 will take place Sept. 13 when New Hampshire visits Rhode Island, Towson travels to Richmond and Massachusetts heads south to take on James Madison.

William and Mary opens its season Sept. 6 against N.C. State in Raleigh, NC, with the first home game Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. against VMI. The Tribe opens its conference season Oct. 4 – family weekend – at home against Villanova.
